Definitions of Working Relationships

Are you working with your Realtor as a Buyer’s Agent, Seller’s Agent or a Transaction Broker?  The distinction can be really important, yet it can also confuse first time and experienced home buyers alike.  The Colorado Real Estate Commission has the official explanation of the differences in their document titled “Brokerage Disclosure to Buyer”.  Your Realtor can (and should) provide you with a copy of this document, which you’re not required to sign.
