Ranch of the Rockies (aka Western Union Ranch) is a large subdivision located near the summit of Trout Creek Pass, near Buena Vista, CO and Hartsel, CO in Park County. There are many vacant lots, homes and cabins for sale in Ranch of the Rockies and prices are fairly low compared to other areas. Most of the lots are about 2 acres, some up to 30+ acres; most have year round access but some can be quite a bit further from paved roads/civilization than others. Electric is available at many but not all properties, well and septic for water & sewer. Some lots are treed, some are not, some border BLM or National Forest but all have access within 10 or 15 minutes. Land sells for $10,000 – $100,000; Home prices range from under $90,000 – $400,000.
